Freemotion harness 5.0
Freemotion harness 5.0
The Freemotion harness 5.0 from Non-stop dogwear is an adjustable pulling harness for dogs. Its ergonomic design offers freedom of movement and minimal breathing restriction.
The original design of the Non-stop dogwear harness was developed, tested and used by the world's best canicross, bikejoring and skijoring athletes, but it applies to any active dog.
This improved version of the Freemotion harness features the classic Y-shaped front for unrestricted movement. The Freemotion 5.0 harness has a padded neck opening for optimal stability and support. The harness is specifically designed for activities with a high point of pull, such as running, cycling, or skiing. The pulling force is distributed evenly across your dog's body without putting pressure on their spine.
All fabrics are carefully chosen to be both durable and comfortable. The inner lining is soft against your dog's fur. There are no hard edges; each seam has its smooth side facing your dog's body to prevent chafing.
3M™ reflective elements ensure your dog is visible in low or overcast conditions. The Freemotion Harness 5.0 features a reflective loop so you can see how your dog is moving, even in the dark. A safety light (not included) can be attached to this loop for added visibility.
*The leash should not be attached directly to the reflective loop. This will not restrain the dog and may cause the product to malfunction.

How do I adjust the Freemotion harness 5.0?
The Freemotion harness 5.0 is adjustable to fit a wide range of dogs. A proper fit is essential for your dog to fully benefit from the harness. When following this checklist, your dog should be standing and the harness held in a pulling position.
1 - Neck: You should be able to place two fingers vertically between the top of your dog's neck and the harness for a medium-sized dog (sizes 4 to 7). Slightly less for small dogs, slightly more for large ones. A pulling harness must fit snugly around the neck! Important: Place your fingers one on top of the other between your dog's neck and the harness.
2 - Depth: Use the side straps to adjust the depth so the harness fits your dog's chest. For medium-sized dogs, two fingers should be able to slide vertically between the chest and the harness.
3 - Sternum The lowest point of the neck opening should be aligned with your dog's sternum. Adjust this position with the side straps.
4 - Armpits Make sure there is enough space for your dog to move freely, without chafing.
5 - Ribs The side straps should rest on your dog's rib cage, never behind the last rib.
6 - Attachment Point : Adjust the back strap so the leash starts directly above the base of your dog's tail. Secure the strap by threading its end through the metal loop. Important: Ensure the knots on the tether are tight before use.
Tips: If the harness is difficult to put on or take off, turn it sideways and slip it over your dog's head. You can also loosen the side straps and open the back closure if necessary.
